Our Founder’s Story
Raymond’s journey in the building trades began long before his professional career. Growing up working alongside his father on construction projects, he developed a deep, hands-on understanding of how buildings are put together.In 1996, Ray joined the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman. His drive for excellence was quickly recognized when he led his team to a 1st place finish in the elite "Supersquad" competition. This experience planted the seeds of leadership and attention to detail that define Ground Zero Inspections today.

After his military service, Ray earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He recognized that the commercial inspection industry needed a more modern approach. By combining his construction roots with his technical background, Ray developed a system for delivering highly detailed, easy-to-read inspection reports that help investors make smarter, data-driven decisions.
